Oddysamm's Menu brings the bold, soulful flavours of West Africa — with a particular focus on Nigerian cooking — to the heart of the Canadian Prairies. Located at 120 Lowson Crescent in the Tuxedo Industrial area of Winnipeg, we are the city's destination for authentic West African food.
The restaurant grew out of a deep desire to bring the authentic tastes of Nigerian home cooking to the Winnipeg diaspora community and to introduce West African cuisine to a broader Canadian audience. What began as a home-based catering operation expanded — through word-of-mouth, community market appearances, and a highly engaged social media presence — into a full restaurant and catering brand with an established brick-and-mortar location.
From richly spiced party Jollof Rice that tastes like it came off a firewood flame, to slow-simmered pepper soups, hand-seasoned Beef Suya, and comforting swallow dishes like Amala, Poundo, and Eba paired with Egusi, Gbegiri, and Ewedu — every dish is made from scratch with premium ingredients and tells a story of culture, community, and celebration.
